JIFSAN held a webinar on July 6, 2017 to highlight important features of FDA-iRISK® 4.0. A webinar team led over 400 participants through the successful, hour-long session.

FDA-iRISK® 4.0 is an enhanced version of the free, Web-based system made available by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Participants can use FDA-iRISK® 4.0 estimates of public-health outcomes to make informed decisions about food-safety policy. The system’s users can build real-world and theoretical scenarios of food safety issues and use them to analyze and compare risks. The FDA developed the tool so that users could compare risks from multiple food safety issues and predict the effectiveness of prevention and control measures.
